Welcome to Gayizi (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
The Service is a bookkeeping tool for family, friends and trip groups, used to record money sent, expenses, splits and settlements. The Service only keeps records. It does not handle, hold or transfer any money; actual payments and transfers are made by users themselves.
2. Your Account
- Provide accurate registration information and keep your account and password secure.
- Actions taken through your account are treated as your own.
- If you notice someone else using your account, let us know right away.
3. Your Records
- You are responsible for, and retain the rights to, the transactions, photos and messages you record.
- Each transaction takes effect once both sides confirm it. Confirmed transactions can’t be edited; create a new transaction to make adjustments.
- Records reflect arrangements between users only and do not constitute financial, legal or tax evidence of any kind.
4. Exchange Rates
Exchange rates and trends shown in the app are for reference only and may differ from the rates you actually get. Do not rely on them for trading or investment.
5. Prohibited Conduct
- Impersonating others, or recording false entries to mislead others
- Uploading content that is illegal, infringing or harassing
- Interfering with, attacking, or attempting unauthorized access to the Service
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
6. Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time under Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by emailing gayizi@highersisland.jp. See the “Delete your account” page for details.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided as is. We work to keep it stable but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for money exchanged or disputes between users, or for indirect losses arising from use of the Service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms when needed and will post the updated version on this page. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
