Gayizi values your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: email address, name
- Transaction records: amounts, dates, and descriptions of top-ups and expenses
- Photos: receipt images and profile pictures you upload
- Chat messages: messages between the people you keep accounts with
- Device information: device token used for push notifications
- Customer support: feedback you choose to send us
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide bookkeeping services and account management
- To send transaction notifications and push reminders
- For customer support and troubleshooting
- To keep the service secure and stable
Push notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service (iOS) and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android).

The information above is not used for tracking, is not sold, and is not shared with third parties.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal information with any third party, except:
- When required by law
- To protect the safety of our users
5. Storage and Security
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored encrypted, and we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
6. Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time under Settings → Delete Account in the app; if you can’t open the app, email gayizi@highersisland.jp from the address you registered with, and we will handle it within 30 days and reply to let you know. Deletion removes your name, email address, password, profile picture, sign-in links, the chat messages and images you sent, the receipt photos you uploaded, your notifications, and your push notification device token. Records you share with another person (the amounts, dates, and descriptions of top-ups, expenses, and group bills) are kept for them so they can keep checking their accounts, but anonymized: they will only see a deleted user. Balances must be brought to zero and groups settled before deletion.
